\nNetwork and Service Management since 2005. The series appears twice
\na year in January and July and provides articles on the latest
\ndevelopments in this well-established and thriving discipline.
\nPublished articles are expected to highlight recent research
\nachievements in this field and provide insight into theoretical and
\npractical issues related to the evolution of network and service
\nmanagement from different perspectives. The series provides a forum
\nfor the publication of both academic and industrial research,
\naddressing the state of the art, theory and practice in network and
\nservice management. Both original research and review papers are
\nwelcome, in the style expected for IEEE Communications Magazine.
\nArticles should be of partly tutorial nature, written in a style
\ncomprehensible to readers outside the speciality of Network and
\nService Management. This series therefore complements the IEEE
\nTransactions on Network and Service Management (TNSM)

\n– Network and service provisioning, reliability and quality assurance
\n– Management functions
\n– Management standards, technologies and platforms
\n– Management policies
\n– Applications, case studies and experiences<\/p>\n
\ninteresting ideas broadly related to network and service management
\nencouraged.<\/p>\n
\nfrom both academia and industry and has an impact factor which is
\namongst the highest in the field. The published papers will also be
\navailable on-line through IEEE Xplore and Communications Magazine

\nshould be tutorial in nature and should be written in a style
\ncomprehensible to readers outside the specialty of the
\narticle. Mathematical equations should not be used. References
\nshould be included only to guide readers to more information on the
\ntopic; the reference list should not include every available
\nsource. A limit of 15 references is recommended. Articles should not
\nexceed 4500 words. Figures and tables should be limited to a
\ncombined total of six. Submissions violating these rules
\nsignificantly will be returned to the authors without going through
\nthe full review process.<\/p>\n
